The resettlement of our fellow Chaldeans into American society has been a major focus these past few years and will continue to be in the future.
CALC exists to ensure a sense of community and to provide access to services for refugees and other immigrants coming to live in the U.S. The CALC ROOTS (Refugee Outreach & Orientation Team Services) program provides outreach and assessment services to refugees to ensure that they receive appropriate services and addresses barriers that delay successful resettlement. These services include support groups for adults, adolescents, and children, life skills building activities for adults and youth, learning groups & parenting classes, and basic needs assistance and other valuable information about resettling in the United States.
This program also assists families with:
- Clothing & Furniture Assistance
- Transportation & Translation Services
- Financial Assistance
- Youth Programs & Activities
- Job Placement & Referrals
